MASSAGE

The perfect balance to a busy and stressful life, adjunct treatment for pain management and injury rehabilitation, and a complimentary therapy to sporting and workplace performance.

RELAX, UNWIND, RECOVER

There's a reason most Olympic teams travel with a massage therapist.

Massage therapy reduces stress on the body's soft tissues, soothes tired muscles, and improves blood flow to help with regeneration and recovery.

And these benefits are not just for elite athletes. In fact optimising recovery time through massage is valuable to anyone managing the effects of stress, injury or rehabilitation.

"Massage plays an integral role in the recovery process"

Massage Therapist Yuru Peng is highly experienced. She knows that massage therapy can reduce recovery times and improve outcomes after injury.  Yuru also knows that you don't have to be injured to benefit from massage therapy.

MASSAGE THERAPY SERVICES

Remedial Massage

The great "all-rounder"

Remedial massage therapy uses targeted hands-on techniques to help relieve muscle tension, reduce pain, improve movement, and support recovery. It can be helpful for a range of musculoskeletal concerns, including neck and back pain, sports injuries, headaches related to muscle tightness, postural strain, and general muscle tightness or soreness.

It may also benefit people who are experiencing stress, stiffness, or discomfort from work, daily activity, or exercise. Remedial massage is suitable for many people looking to move more freely and feel better in their body.

Deep Tissue Massage

Some pain, all gain

Deep tissue massage is great for deeper injuries and aching type pain.  Your therapist will go a little deeper, using sustained pressure techniques to alleviate tightness in deep muscles and fascial tissue.

This technique promotes faster healing by increasing blood flow and reducing inflammation.  Be warned though, it can hurt a little to get that deep!

Sports Massage

It's all about performance

You won't find any candles or aromatherapy at this one.  This massage is all about releasing those soft tissues that are crying out for a break from training and a little TLC.

Deep tissue, rolling, trigger point releases, stretches.  Your body will be a little sore afterwards and then be singing for days.

Shiatsu Massage

The relaxing one

If you're after a chill, relaxing vibe, give a shiatsu massage a go.

Derived from the Japanese term for "finger pressure" and with roots in Traditional Chinese Medicine, it involves applying pressure to specific points on the body, moving from one point to another in a rhythmic sequence.

Great for headaches, neck pain, back pain and sciatica.  Try not to fall asleep.

Reflexology

The great stress reliever

Reflexology is a gentle, hands-on therapy that uses pressure applied to specific points on the feet to encourage relaxation and support overall wellbeing.

Many people choose reflexology to help manage stress, tension, fatigue, and a general feeling of being out of balance. It may also be helpful for people who want a calming treatment that supports rest, recovery, and time to reset from the demands of daily life.

Reflexology can suit a wide range of people looking for a soothing, supportive therapy that complements their broader health and wellness routine.

Pregnancy Massage

You absolutely deserve this

A super special massage for a special time of life!

Talk to your massage therapist to identify the areas most in need of some TLC.  A combination of swedish, deep tissue and shiatsu will leave you feeling relaxed and reinvigorated.

Indulge yourself.  You deserve it.

Hot Stone Therapy

Calm your senses

Hot stone therapy is a gentle treatment that combines massage with warmed stones to help ease muscle tension, reduce stress, and promote relaxation.

The heat can be especially comforting for people who feel tight, sore, or fatigued, and it may help soften muscles before hands-on treatment.

Many people enjoy hot stone therapy as a calming way to support recovery and overall wellbeing.
